Birthday card (new style attempt)

Very recently made birthday card for a friend.

Was trying a new style, bigger typo, vivid pen-lines and much more standing out both in colour wise and image size wise.

Think i pulled it off o.k. since i made it one the spot with one rough sketch?

Another personal project i recently started with a title 'how i see things'

each illustration will be either an animal or an object.

Title says it all... They are how i see them, how i interpret them, how i want to present them..

focused on my point of view and drawing style..

They might not be far from how others see them or it could be totally opposite..

This is an on going project that will help me to keep myself motivated, develop style and move forward as an illustrator..

As a starting point, I will be using my favourite theme 'animal' in very simple line drawing series..
