La Premiere Experience

I went to Sylvia Park Hoyts to watch 'Maleficent'  the other day.
(was my first time watching a movie in La Premiere.)

We grabbed a big lunch at BurgerFuel before the movie and had some photo time at La Premier Lounge.

Cute round sofas in the lounge + flower decoration

The seats were big and comfy (leg part of the sofa stretching out XD)
But complementary popcorn and drink were really disappointing.
Popcorn prepared ages ago so cold, soggy and plain salty. X(

I really enjoyed the movie in the comfy sofa but if I watch a movie in La Premiere sits again and feel like some pop-corns, I would rather buy them straight from the candy bar.

Cima (Cafe) - Auckland CBD

I felt like grabbing some cafe food for lunch so decided to visit 'Cima' cafe on High St.
They used to have lunch deals where you can get a main and a drink for around $17.
Sadly the deal was gone :(
But I was too hungry to move to another cafe so sat myself down on the second floor of the cafe.
(Was too cold to seat outside XP)

I ordered 'Cima's Grilled Chicken Burger'
My BF ordered 'Meatball Spaghetti'

I would say the spaghetti was pretty average.
But the burger was bigger than I expected with nicely toasted buns with generous amount of chips on the side. (Couldn't finish the chips)
Especially like how they served the chips in a small tin net container.

If I revisit and order the burger again, might ask for less dressing. (Not really a sauce lover XP)

Anyway overall was a nice filling lunch. XD
Didn't have time to take some photos of their dessert cabinet but they all looked pretty delicious. +w+

Rosie (Cafe) - Parnell

Was a rather quiet and sunny day after the storm so decided to have brunch in a cafe.
The cafe me and my bf decided to visit was in Parnell, called 'Rosie'
Heard they have some cool lighting and indeed they did.
(Apparently the flower light cost more than a car 0A0;)

All the furniture and dishes were all nice (and pricey)  fancy design wares.
Cabinet food looked pretty and delicious. (Forgot to take some photos though..)

Their menu was nicely covered with hand stitched fabric, giving an antique classy look.

Rosie Cafe had a wide range of juice and smoothies to choose from!
I went for a glass of 'Apple & Kale' Juice and I really liked it! (Was too green for my bf XP)

For my meal I've chosen 'Mushrooms, pancetta, poached eggs, chilli ragas'
My bf went for 'Omellette, smoked fish, soft herbs, caper salad'
plus 'hash potato'

The presentation of the foods were good.
I definitely wasn't expecting hash brown to be a square shape.
But seasoning in foods were a bit too much for me...
So I was quite glad I ordered refreshing juice instead of creamy coffee XP

If I visit Rosie again, think I will go for the cabinets sandwiches.

Face Painting Weekend

Last Weekend,  I worked at NewWorld Supermarket, Victoria Park.
They had special weekend event happening so they hired Facfaces for a face painter and a balloon twister. (I was the main face painter) All free for NewWorld customers and they also had candy floss!!
Saturday was pretty quiet so painted few staffs to promote the face painting.
But Sunday was rather busy!
